Radomil Klouza

Radomil Klouza, an academic painter and restorer, focuses on the restoration of works of art and polychrome sculptures. In addition to teaching at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague in the studio of restoration of works of art and polychrome sculpture, he also participated in numbers of restoration events. Most of his restoration works are carried out in long-term external cooperation primarily with the Collection of Old Art of the National Gallery in Prague and also with the Collection of Modern and Contemporary Art of the National Gallery in Prague. In 2010, he supervised the restoration of a large collection of paintings as part of the Karel Škréta – Time and Work exhibition project. In a separate publication entitled “Pohled do obrazu”, he took advantage of his long-term professional experience and in a unique way, through painting technology copies, acquaints the general public with the whole process of creating a work of art.
