Milan Sodoma (1985) is a Czech painter based in Prague. He studied industrial and graphic design.
At present, he is mainly engaged in painting. His works could be described as minimalist, clearly defined, with an emphasis on shape, composition and a visual experience of the image.
He works exclusively in black and white, most often with ink on paper or a canvas. This technique is typical of him as it allows him to quickly and spontaneously record his visions and ideas.
The very process of image creation – intuitive and unplanned – is as important to him as its final form.
In his work, he moves between stylization and realism. His theme is women and female energy.
