David Strauzz

David Strauzz is one of the most prominent artists on the Czech street art scene. He was born in Canada, where his parents emigrated in the early 1970s. In 2012 he moved to the USA, where he participated in several exhibitions in Boston and New York. As a citizen of the Czech Republic, he wanted to return and get to know his roots, so in 2015 he settled down in Prague and became a resident artist in the Pragovka Art District. He uses techniques such as collage, décollage and assemblage, combines different materials and found objects, or he reuses objects with new connections. He finds inspiration in urban culture, in the streets and among the people who use these places.
